How does the Acticheck life-saving wristband communicate?

Modified on Fri, 2 Feb at 9:52 AM

Your Acticheck system comes with a base station which communicates with the life-saving wristband to provide resilient coverage throughout most typical homes and gardens.

It uses:

  1. a very secure long-range radio frequency to connect to the base.

  2. The Acticheck base station then communicates via the internet. If you have reliable Internet available in your house and have chosen the 'broadband' version this will be using your existing internet. If you have chosen our cellular base this will be through the mobile internet; the Acticheck cellular-enabled base station uses the strongest available mobile network.

If you also run the smartphone app it will communicate with your phone by Bluetooth.
