How secure is the information stored on the Acticheck system?

The Acticheck system operates on a cloud-based data centre provided by Microsoft. All information is held on servers in the EU and therefore under the jurisdiction of EU law. The information is replicated across multiple sites to protect against a single site outage. Administration access is protected by two factor authentication (access requires both a password and a unique personal identifier assigned to designated system administrators) to protect against unauthorised access.
