Can I set up a system on behalf of someone else?

You have two options for setting up a system for someone else:

1) Where you will be one of their responders

2) Where you will NOT be one of their responders

You can perform all the setup before installing the equipment at the band wearer's home.

1) Setting up a system where you will be one of their responders

In a Web browser go to myacticheck.com and click on 'Register' then enter your own email address. Open the email when it arrives and click on Option (2) where you are a RESPONDER. Carefully follow the instructions in the email. Note that you first need to enter all of your own details before you create a new band WEARER account to enter their details.

2) Setting up a system where you will NOT be one of their responders

In a Web browser go to myacticheck.com and click on 'Register' then enter the email address of the person who will be wearing the band. If they do not have an email address or immediate access to their email then you can use your own however you will then be responsible for administering their system. Open the email when it arrives and click on Option (1) for setting up a WEARER account. You will be invited to enter the Base registration code on the side of the box to enable the installation.

Once your have created an account using option (1) or (2) above plug in the Acticheck base as described in the user manual. After a short while the base will make a BING BONG sound. Wait for the INTERNET (Globe) light to come on and the BAND light to flash. With the band with 2m of the base press a single button on the band. The base should make a confirmation sound and the BAND light should stop flashing. Now squeeze both buttons on the band. The wearer's phone number you have submitted will receive an automated call asking for '1' to be pressed on their keypad. The system will then be active. 

You can log in to myacticheck.com to add more responders and change the settings.

Note that if you have already registered an email address at myacticheck.com it cannot be used again. It is worth bearing in mind that some email providers, such as Google, allow you to append your normal email address with '+...' and have this delivered into your main account. Free webmail accounts can also easily be set up.
